At a working meeting with the management of the Invest Bulgaria Agency, Eng. Stoyan Markov – Deputy Mayor for Economic Development of Sliven Municipality, and Solomon Moscona – Manager of Industrial Park Sliven Ltd., presented the opportunities for investors in Sliven and the region. The discussion took place at Sofia Tech Park in the office of the Invest Bulgaria Agency, and the focus was on the newly developing Industrial Park Sliven.

On behalf of the Invest Bulgaria Agency, the meeting was attended by the Acting Executive Director Mr. Angel Ivanov, the Secretary General Mr. Yuliyan Balchev, and experts from the agency. During the meeting, Eng. Markov and Mr. Moscona presented the current status of the park, as well as the opportunities and advantages for investment in the region. The representatives of the IBA shared the possibility of directing specific investors to Sliven who are looking for sites with good locations and larger areas exceeding 100 decares, which can be found specifically in Industrial Park Sliven.

The park has plots with areas starting from 5, 10, 20, and 100 decares in the northern part, reaching a large plot of nearly 1,000 decares in the southern part. The total area of the park is 2,700 decares, which includes an airport runway with a length of 2,500 m, along with an aircraft hangar and a flight control building with offices and a passenger waiting area.

During the meeting, the Agency’s readiness to continue providing full assistance to investors in Sliven and the region was also confirmed, acting as a link between business and competent state institutions. The IBA will continue to work actively, in partnership with the Ministry of Innovation and Growth and other institutions, to improve investment conditions and support companies that have chosen Bulgaria as their investment destination.
