At the International Fair in Thessaloniki, a team of the National Association of Municipalities in Bulgaria presented the investment opportunities and profiles of the municipalities of Sliven, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Botevgrad and Gabrovo. Sliven was presented with the future Industrial Park as a new opportunity for investors.

This year, Bulgaria is the guest of honor at the fair, as almost 60 Bulgarian companies and organizations from various sectors are represented at it. A number of organizations and institutions are participating at the Bulgarian national stand in Thessaloniki, including the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Investment Agency, the National Industrial Zones Company, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia Tech Park and others. At separate stands, dozens of Bulgarian companies from various sectors in the field of high technology and IT, companies related to the food industry, education, transport, mechanical engineering and others will present their activities.

The Minister of Economy and Industry, Bogdan Bogdanov, the Minister of Finance, Asen Vasilev and their Greek counterpart and Minister of Economy and Finance, Konstantinos Hazidakis, officially opened the Bulgarian Palace on the first day of the fair.
