Investor Interest Already Expressed in Part of the Sliven Industrial Park

Investor interest has already been expressed in one of the plots at the Sliven Industrial Park, which is currently under construction. This was announced at today’s press conference regarding Thursday’s session by the Chairman of the Municipal Council, Dimitar Mitev. The investment proposal, which concerns the sale of a 4.5-decare plot within the Industrial Zone, is included in the agenda for the session on December 11. The plot is real estate—private municipal property—the sale of which will be conducted through a publicly announced tender.
In the proposal sent to the Municipality, the investor indicates an intention to build a new commercial and warehouse facility, realizing an investment of at least 2 million BGN and creating at least five jobs.
“The real return on the investment in the Industrial Park is beginning to happen, which for me is significant. This is a good start,” Mitev noted.
The Sliven Industrial Park is the largest outside of Sofia and the third largest in the entire country. The first stage of its construction is currently underway and is expected to be completed by the end of April 2026. Sliven Municipality has also received approval for funding for the second stage of construction.
