“Industrial Park – Sliven” EOOD attracted partners for cooperation in common initiatives and projects related to the development of the park and attraction of investor interest. The first agreements were signed by the manager Solomon Moscona with the chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov, the chairman of the Bulgarian-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry Savvas Karafilidis, with the heads of the chambers of commerce and industry in Stara Zagora and Sliven.

This happened after a number of meetings of the deputy mayor for economic development Stoyan Markov, the manager Solomon Moscona and municipal experts with the managements of various chambers of commerce, local business, the academic community, universities, companies dealing with innovations and startups.

The agreements stated on specific commitments to work together. The Sliven Industrial Park will participate in events of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where it will present its opportunities to Bulgarian and foreign investors. The park and the Bulgarian-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize a joint forum in Sliven with the participation of companies from both countries. The creation of friendly relations between the Municipality of Sliven and a municipality from Northern Greece, as well as the deepening of trade exchanges, are discussed.

Talks with potential partners are ongoing. More agreements are to be signed with representatives of local business, national and international organizations, and academia.

The company “Industrial Park – Sliven” and the Municipality conduct an active policy of finding partners and providing or purchasing land from investors. The first investment contract was with the Ministry of Health, which plans to build a HEMS operational base in Sliven – a hangar and site for the needs of the air emergency medical assistance system.

The creation of an industrial park is among the most ambitious projects of the Municipality, working for the future of Sliven and the region, for the development of the local economy, provision of new and well-paid jobs, higher quality of education, retention of young people. The Sliven Park is the third largest in the country, entered in the Register of Industrial Parks. Its area is nearly 2,700 decares of private municipal property. It represents an urbanized territory with an effective detailed development plan.
